Where did you get to know God in your life?

As I come from a religious and Marian family, I was familiar with God and believed I knew him. However, a specific personal encounter took place in my life on 17th September 2005. I was at a crossroads in my life and worried about my future. I had just received a rejection for a scholarship to study abroad. My life’s dream was shattered. I discovered God again during a retreat course. Life testimonials and Eucharistic adoration gave me the conviction and certainty that the Triune God does exist. Since then, my life has been in his hands and I keep experiencing his love.
